Harris Group, who will be exhibiting at next year’s CV Workshop EXPO, has delivered 750 Maxus electric vans to DPD UK, doubling its EV fleet. The order consists of 500 Maxus e Deliver 9 vans and 250 e Deliver 3 vans, which will be rolled out across England, Scotland and Wales.

The additional 750 electric vehicles brings DPD’s total EV roster to over 1,500 vehicles and dramatically contributes to its mission of reducing Co2 emissions per parcel.

Speaking on the delivery, Harris Group CEO, Denise Harris described it as an “outstanding endorsement” for Harris Group and the Maxus brand.

The e Deliver 3 is a compact van, ideal for city centre driving and is available in two battery options; 35KwH and 52.5KwH both of which can be charged to 80 per cent in just 45 mins on a fast charge, according to Maxus.

While the e Deliver 9 is the larger of the two vehicles, it is available in a number of different sizes and battery options (51.5, 72 or 88KwH) boasting an impressive range of up to 353 kilometres.

The new CV Workshop EXPO will take place from May 7-8, 2022 alongside the very successful and eagerly awaited Auto Trade EXPO, in Dublin.
